In the Community
Our customers are loyal, and we pride ourselves on giving back to local communities throughout Far North Queensland.
Both Joe and Sam Marano – the company’s founders – are from a small town and understand the importance of contributing to the growth of small communities.
Marano’s Fuel takes great pride in being a positive member of the communities we service. We are a strong corporate citizen and provide support to the communities we service through both direct cash contribution and in-kind support.
We support causes that offer shared value and make a difference to the bottom line of both the community they’re in and Marano’s Fuel.
Marano’s Fuel supports arts and cultural events, environmental conservation, community wellbeing, local enterprise, and community events. In fact, each year Marano’s Fuel supports more than 40 community organisations or events. These include:
- Jamie Gosling Football Academy
- Cairns & Mossman Shows
- Port Douglas Crocs AFL Club
- Malanda Eels Rugby League Club
- Cairns Basketball
- Mossman-Port Douglas Sharks
- Rugby League Club
- Marlin Coast Rangers Football Club.
Marano’s Fuel also assists communities and businesses during times of local need with other than normal deliveries. For example, during Category 5 Tropical Cyclone Yasi in 2011, Marano’s Fuel supported the local community’s needs by relocating both a truck and driver to refuel generators around the region on a daily basis.

Marano’s Fuel works really hard to keep the Far North moving, but sometimes we let our hair down and have some fun for charity! Check out some of the antics we got up to in 2019…
A huge thanks to Northern Pride, Triple M Cairns and Sobah Beverages for their involvement. All proceeds to www.giveme5forkids.com.au
